Genova & Milano

Beh si, eccomi qui! Dopo più di una settimana, finalmente torno attiva sul mio blog. Come molte di voi già sapevano, sono stata via circa 4 giorni per un viaggio tra Genova e Milano. 

Here I am finally! After more than a week, here I am again. Lots of you knew that I've been away for a trip between Genoa and Milan.

Sono tornata un po' a malincuore, perché ho passato delle giornate bellissime che sono letteralmente volate. Quindi, con un po' di nostalgia, vi parlo di quest'esperienza.

Io ed il mio ragazzo, siamo arrivati a Genova verso le 13 di venerdì 6 e siamo stati ospiti della nostra cara amica Camilla per quasi 3 giorni. Mi ha fatto scoprire un po' la città (il mio ragazzo era già stato li l'anno scorso) e devo dire che ne sono rimasta davvero colpita. La immaginavo una città senza alcun senso, monotona e senza nessuna storia, ma mi son dovuta ricredere. Da piazza centrale De Ferrari con la grande fontana ed i palazzi enormi, a via Sestri che è uno dei centri dello shopping genovese; da Via XX Settembre con i suoi negozi e i suoi mosaici, alla cattedrale di San Lorenzo, maestosa e tipicamente medioevale: me ne sono innamorata. Poi il Porto Antico ristrutturato da Renzo Piano e le vie del quartiere di Cornigliano. Un'atmosfera unica grazie al mio ragazzo, alla nostra amica e alla sua splendida famiglia che ci ha accolti calorosamente. E poi quante cose buone da mangiare, 3 giorni con fiumi di focacce: non potevo che esserne felice! La giornata di lunedi, invece, l'abbiamo passata tra le vie di Milano. Abbiamo visitato il Duomo, la Galleria di Vittorio Emanuele II, abbiamo visto la Scala e il Castello di Umberto I. Abbiamo visto la NABA e fatto una passeggiata sui Navigli. Si moriva dal freddo, ma è stata una giornata piacevole e mi sono resa conto quanto sia frenetica la vita a Milano: non fa per me. E' una città molto bella, piena di cose da fare e ti offre mille opportunità, ma preferisco città piene di storia, con qualche caratteristica o cibo particolare, che hanno un'atmosfera unica e ti lasciano dentro quella voglia di tornarci. A Milano ho avuto anche l'occasione di passare un po' di tempo con Giulia, una ragazza fantastica, anche lei blogger. Adesso vi lascio ad alcune delle foto che abbiamo scattato durante questo viaggio e in arrivo tanti altri post! Baci!

Here I am finally! After more than a week, here I am again. Lots of you knew that I've been away for a trip between Genoa and Milan. I came home witha a heavy heart, because I spend 4 beautiful days that I've literally flew away! So a little homesick, I'm going to talk about this experience. Me and my boyfriend arrived in Genoa on Friday around 1 pm and we've been guests of our dear friend Camilla for almost 3 days. We visited the city even if my boyfriend went ther last year and I have to say that I was really impressed. I thought Geona was a city without a story and a pretty monotonous city, but I was wrong. From Piazza De Ferrari with a big fountain and enormous buildings, to Via Sestri that is one of the genoese centers to do shopping; from Via XX Settembre with its shops and mosaics, to the cathedral of San Lorenzo, majestic and fron the Mediaval age: I fell in love with this city. Then the Porto Antico restructurated by Renzo Piano and the streets of Cornigliano. An unique atmosphere thank to my boyfriend, our friend and her amazing family which has welcomed us very warmly. And there were so many good things to eat, I spent 3 days eating only genoese bun: so good! On Monday, instead, we went to Milano. We visited the Duomo, the Gallery of Vittorio Emanuele II, the Scala and the Castle of Umberto I. But also the NABA and we made a walk on the Navigli. We were freezing, but we spent a nice day and I understood how much hectic is the life in Milan: it is not for me. It's a very beautiful city, full of things to do and it offers you thousand of opportunities, but I prefer cities full of history, with a typical food and also with an unique atmosphere that make you feel like you want to come back as soon as you can. In Milan I had the occasion to spend some time with Giulia, an amazing girl and she's a blogger too.
